Happy almost Summer Solstice village friends!
We invite you to join us on the land for a celebration of friendship, family, reinhabiting the village, commUnity and love! What a beautyFULL time of year to honor our transition of the seasons with the longest day of the year as we move into summer (actual solstice on is on Thursday the 21st). We will be sharing yummy food, playing music, dancing with bare feet on the earth & celebrating life! Please bring your instruments! Here is a link to learn more about our Village Design Lab project.
We are honored to share an “Earth Music Circle” with Kerem at 4:00! We will explore connecting with each other and the earth though group practices in rhythm, harmony, and movement. Express the music of your body, your voice and your heart with all instruments provided! The “Earth Music Circle” is led by local earthling musician and facilitator Kerem Brulé of Beautiful Sounds.
We highly encourage carpooling! There is a park-and-ride just off of Highway 15 at our exit – Gopher Canyon Road. Cars with 2 or more people are free… cars with 1 person will be asked to pay $5 for parking (unless a specific individual circumstance is communicated to us). We invite everyone to consider contributing a $5-15 donation for the gathering… yet no one will be turned away for lack of funds or donation. Donations will be used to help support community based projects on the land and general upkeep of the village for events. We will have a donation jar at the welcome table for parking & event contributions (cash)… or you can donate with Paypal here.

3:00 pm – Opening of the land for village guests (relax, socialize – explore & connect with the land)
4:00 – Earth Music Circle
5:30 – Potluck
6:30 – Music, Fire Circle & Dancing Freedom with Sonia (Intention Setting Ceremony)
9:30 – Close of Solstice Celebration

** Food & Potluck details: Please bring a healthy (& organic as possible) potluck dish to share if you are joining us during the potluck time. We will possibly provide some snacks & drinks throughout the gathering for purchase… donations to go towards community education projects.
** Earth-friendly Gatherings: We do our best to minimize any waste and leave a positive impact on the land with our gatherings. To avoid single use disposable products please bring your own cup, bowl, napkin, and utensils. Please be mindful of the amount of plastics & packaging involved in the food preparation process. If possible we encourage supporting local organic farmers by shopping at farmers markets or coops. We also encourage buying in bulk with reusable containers to minimize packaging waste. Please carpool!
** Village & Event Substance Agreement: One of our core values in the village is holistic health. We are practicing the art of getting high on life with positive vibes, healthy food, singing songs, playing music, placing our feet on the earth, hugging, laughing, sharing heart connection, prayers and dancing around the fire. Please NO use of drugs, alcohol or smoking on the property.
