Welcome to Earth 2.0!
Local Earth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to upgrading the health and sustainability of our planetary systems . We are doing this by creating a regenerative model for human society that integrates harmoniously with our natural environment. We are cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship with the human species and the entirety of our global ecosystem. The old paradigm (Earth 1.0) ways of fear and competition are becoming obsolete. We are upgrading the operating systems for planet Earth, just as we upgrade the operating systems on our computers. Earth 2.0 is evolving from a solutions-based mindset of creativity, cooperation, collaboration and abundance.
We have remembered that we are part of nature and not separate from nature. From the most ancient indigenous wisdom to the most modern science, we are reminded that everything is connected. Earth 2.0 is a state of being infused with peace, love, health and compassion – and begins with new ways of thinking.
Our initial steps include the design and development of a Living Cluster in Souther California. We will be hosting an annual Local Earth Festival beginning in 2018/19 that will support the development of a global network of educational Eco-Villages built upon the foundation of Earth 2.0 systems.
