Details & Logistics
Food…
- There are 3 refrigerators and 3 kitchens on the property. People staying in the houses will use the kitchen in their house. Campers and glampers will use the kitchen in the community center building.
- We will be preparing and cooking our own meals for the gathering. Please arrive at the gathering with all of the food supplies and ingredients you will need for the 3 days (there are markets in the nearby towns).
- There is the potential that we will organize a shopping trip where participants can pay an agreed upon amount, and one of the organizers or participants will go do a shopping trip to a nearby market to get some staples for the weekend (rice, veggies, greens for salad, eggs, sauces for rice and veggies etc. – we will explore this idea with participants as the event gets closer).
- The kitchens have stoves and ovens and are stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, tableware, bowls, plates and cups.
- You can prepare your own meals if you have specific dietary needs or coordinate with other participants to cook a community meal together (this sounds more fun and a good opportunity to bond with one another!).
- For those that are staying for the Community Incubator week, we can coordinate a trip to a nearby market to restock food supplies.
Water & Bathrooms…
- There is a desalination plant on the property that filters water from the sea. This water is then also filtered again at the tap. The tap water is drinkable or you can bring your own water.
- Campers and glampers will use the bathrooms in the houses or community center building.
Getting There…
- Location:

- Lumeria is just 5 minutes from the small town of El Cardonal
- Driving:
- It is about a 1,000 mile beautiful scenic drive/adventure from San Diego
- If driving contact us for specific directions
- Flying:
- There are very affordable flights on Volaris (www.volaris.com)
- If traveling from San Diego you can go from Tijuana for very cheap. You would select departure from Tijuana (TIJ) or Tijuana Cross-Border Xpress (TJX) to Los Cabos (SJD). Here is Cross-Border Xpress info (LINK), you get a ride to the border and walk across a bridge to the airport – it is very easy.
- Note: there can be tropical storms around this time in October. When booking tickets on Volaris, there is a minimal fee option (around $10-15) to purchase a ticket where the date can be changed without a fee – this might not be a bad idea just incase you needed to change your flight because of a storm (not highly likely, yet possible).
- It is best to fly into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) San Jose Del Cabo. This is about 1.5 hours from Lumeria.
- There are numerous ways you can get from Los Cabos to Lumeria. You can rent a car, take an Uber or take a shuttle to Los Barriles.
- If you take a shuttle to Los Barriles that is about 40 minutes from Lumeria. You could then take an Uber or taxi. It might be possible for someone from the event to come get you in Los Barriles, but there is no guarantee that someone will be available. (Shuttle: LINK)
- We also have a local friend of the property that can come pick people up from the airport for a fee.

- Lumeria is just 5 minutes from the small town of El Cardonal
- As our event dates get closer, we can all be in communication to coordinate the best ways from the airport to the property – based on various peoples itineraries.

Internet & Connectivity…
- There is Starlink on the property with good wifi connection
What to bring…
- An open heart and open mind ready to inspire, love and cocreate!
- Layers for clothing – could be warm in the day – could cool down in evenings
- Bathing suit and towel
- Notebook and pen for group exercises
- Instruments – there will be plenty of opportunities to make music together
